Professional arrangement fee £1795 plus disbursements.

There are lots of things to consider:

Choose a setting away from a crematorium or church

If your loved one loved the outdoors, you could choose a setting to match their preferences: woodland, or a wild meadow, or even their own garden! Or you could choose a barn venue, or an elegant hotel to host the service – Sussex has some beautiful venue options.

A themed approach

Maybe they were country & western fans, or avid sports enthusiasts, or were Harry Potter fans, in which case you could ask attendees to dress accordingly, or arrange the transport accordingly and provide appropriately themed food and drink for the wake.

Personalise the coffin

Coffins don’t have to be plain wood, as lovingly created as they are. You can choose any number of different materials for the coffin; or you can arrange for the coffin to be decorated by an artist you admire, or you can arrange for friends and family to place their own decorations, or even their signatures or last messages onto the casket, to make the occasion especially personal.
