Bespoke

When traditional is not the right fit, Aurora funerals will support and guide you in creating a personalised meaningful funeral that is right for you and your loved one.

Professional arrangement fee £1895 plus disbursements.

There are lots of things to consider:

Choose a setting away from a crematorium or church

If your loved one loved the outdoors, you could choose a setting to match their preferences: woodland, or a wild meadow, or even their own garden! Or you could choose a barn venue, or an elegant hotel to host the service – Sussex has some beautiful venue options.

A themed approach

Maybe they were country & western fans, or avid sports enthusiasts, or were Harry Potter fans, in which case you could ask attendees to dress accordingly, or arrange the transport accordingly and provide appropriately themed food and drink for the wake.

Personalise the coffin

Coffins don’t have to be plain wood, as lovingly created as they are. You can choose any number of different materials for the coffin; or you can arrange for the coffin to be decorated by an artist you admire, or you can arrange for friends and family to place their own decorations, or even their signatures or last messages onto the casket, to make the occasion especially personal.

Traditional Funeral Funding: Exploring the most common methods of funding a funeral, including life insurance, savings, and family contributions.

Alternative Funding Options: Discover newer, more flexible ways to cover funeral expenses, such as crowdfunding, pre-planning, and government assistance.

There are several forms of financial assistance and support available to help with the costs of funerals, especially for those who may be struggling to cover the expenses. Some of the key options include:

Children’s Funeral Costs

There is one topic that nobody wishes to address, yet it is a reality many families must face – funerals for children. The thought of saying goodbye to a child is unimaginable, a nightmare that no parent or caregiver should ever endure. Still, in the world’s unpredictable and sometimes cruel course, this heart-wrenching experience touches the lives of countless families.

Aurora Funerals are here to support families in Crowborough and surrounding areas, to ease the financial pressure and worry we do not charge any professional fees for children’s funerals.

There are disbursement fees that need to be met and we can assist you with obtaining funding through the Children’s Funeral Fund.
